Little Mermaid Bib Statement Necklace with Roman Glass, Adjustable Length, Custom Length Upon Request

Part of my Fairy Tales series, this gorgeous teal and antique bronze statement necklace was inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen story. Here is The Little Mermaid in happier days, in her ocean home, before she met the prince. She has a silver coin and a pearl she found at the bottom of the sea, and her creature companions around her.

The piece is embellished with real shells, turquoise rounds, metal charms, a Swarovski glass pearl and several pieces of Roman glass. This beautiful glass with its aged patina is an artifact from Israel, and most of it dates back to the first century. I have sealed it to keep it from losing its color or finish.

The resin mermaid focal has her tail hand-painted and sealed by me to get just the right color and shine.

The chain and hook are handmade by me. The necklace is about 20 inches long altogether, and as with all my necklaces, is adjustable to any shorter length, depending on where you insert the hook.
