I'm Mary Christou, jeweler, designer, and creator of Wire and Wings with an eye for all things unique and fully original for true self-expression. My portfolio includes a diverse assemblage of artisan jewelry, transforming wire-bound objects into wearable art.
My individually handcrafted pieces include my clients’ visions, as well as heirlooms, found items and limitless artistic inspiration. I specialize in wire collage, as well as memorial and bridal jewelry. Every creation from Wire and Wings is made to empower fearless self-expression, invoke the creative within you, and show off your own style in miniature. My work has been featured in stores across south Florida, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Lake Worth and Deerfield Beach; as well as in galleries located in Lake Worth and West Palm Beach. A teacher, inspirer, and motivator, I've been a teacher for over 8 years in stores and in my airy studio in sunny Boca Raton, Florida.
When I'm not crafting with wire, you can find me indulging my many other creative passions, including ceramics, sewing, embroidery and crochet, as well as gardening and reading. I'm ceaselessly inspired by the awe-inducing beauty of fantasy tales and intriguing science fiction.
